As many of you know Garber Chevrolet in Green Cove Springs, has been sponsoring the Green Cove Springs Athletic Association for the past three years through a Chevrolet and Major League Baseball program called Chevrolet Youth Baseball.
In 2006 Chevrolet teamed-up with Major League Baseball and Chevrolet Dealerships to create the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Program. Since 2006 the program has Given Community Youth Baseball programs the opportunity to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars through Donations in Equipment, T-Shirts, a $500 dollar check from their local Chevrolet Dealership and a unique fund raising opportunity.
The program sponsors a sweepstakes that allows participants to provide a donation to their local Youth Baseball League in exchange for a chance to win a new vehicle. ALL donations collected by each individual league stayed with that League to assist with their effort to provide for their leagues needs. This Year Chevrolet offered a Chevrolet Malibu or a Chevrolet Equinox as the Grand Prize.
